Cozy Family Haven with Room for Improvement

We spent 9 nights in a compact two-bedroom apartment. Despite limited light in the common areas, we enjoyed our stay. The local restaurants nearby offered delightful Greek cuisine. For families, expect a cozy atmosphere, but perhaps consider a larger space for better airflow.

Great baby club for kids, but the apartment was a bit small for our family.

Lovely apartment, lovely breakfast, with great amenities like a children's club that my baby enjoyed with lots of fun activities, and a fantastic location near the sandy beach just a short drive from Chania Airport.

Nothing to improve upon.

Enjoyed my stay at Caldera Beach in Gerani. The close proximity to the beach and the lovely pool created a perfect getaway. Though the room felt a bit compact, the food selection for breakfast and dinner was excellent. The friendly staff really added to my experience.

The One-Bedroom Apartment Inland View was cozy, really perfect for my family of four. We loved the baby club. the activities kept my little one engaged, and the staff there were wonderful. The location, just a stone's throw from the beach, made it easy to enjoy the sand and sun. Food was a highlight, especially breakfast and dinners at the stone restaurant—delicious! However, I ran into some serious issues during our stay. First, there were problems with room changes. I was moved to a new room without proper re-check in, which led to confusion with dining reservations and even blocked key cards when I needed to feed my baby. Also, the cleaning staff took a few days to adjust their schedule since my baby naps during the day. Pool cleanliness could use attention too. some debris lingered around the edges. I also noticed that sunbeds were often reserved by guests who didn't show up until much later. That left many of us without a spot to enjoy the sun. These details detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience. The staff could improve communication when issues arise. Despite these drawbacks, I still think it's a nice place for families like mine, with plenty of activities and a comfortable facility.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities available during the week. Perhaps engaging kids' programs could make it even better.

The terrace was great for relaxing, and we loved the playground for some fun times. We also explored the stunning beach nearby and enjoyed the local tavernas. Perfect spot for a group getaway!

The only downside was a slight delay in getting our room cleaned, but it wasn’t a huge issue.

my family and i had an amazing time at caldera beach during a wedding ceremony. the food was simply outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that exceeded our expectations. loved the baby club too, where our little one enjoyed countless fun activities while we relaxed.

It was just a fitting option for a cursory stop in Gerani with reasonable value. We enjoyed the welcome fruit plate and drinks, which were a nice touch. Be sure to ask for additional water if you're running low, as they didn't always refill the fridge.
